Putin on Clinton: "The minimum requirement for a head of state..."

Is it possible that a former KGB officer is on his way to rock-star status in the American conservative world?

Well, probably not, but this richly deserved smack-down of Sen. Hillary Clinton will be making the internet rounds.

That dude is vile. I'm no Clinton fan, but her stock just rose with me after that comment.

Clinton's comment had little to do with Putin. It was a merely a manifestation of Bush Derangement Syndrome.

Clinton was so anxious to land a blow on Bush for his famous "I saw his soul" comment about Putin that she didn't stop to think about how that comment would appear to the rest of the world -- let alone to the man that, with a highly personal slur, she reduced to the level of a common beast.

If this is an example of what we can expect from her in the foreign policy arena as a result of all of her "experience," then Lord have mercy on us if she is elected President.

Sort of ironic that you'd quote our current Presdient and his particular brainless comment about Putin, which didn't go over with the world -- at least the portion which lives in the shadow of the former Soviet Union...

I also have no doubt Clinton's comment was more than a mere reaction against Bush. Maybe y'all haven't noticed, but Putin's been banging the war drum pretty good lately over American incursions into his sphere of influence, not to mention the myriad human rights' abuses he's perpetrating on his own people.

You may think it foolish; but there are a lot of folks around the world who are wondering if the US is interested at all to standing up to Russian aggression. I'm glad someone's giving it consideration.

Hillary Clinton's new motto -- "let's bring back the Cold War."

Now there's a campaign theme for the new millenium.

As opposed to Bush's new slogan, "Let's bring back the czarist empire."

Are you talking about a czarist empire in Russia, or here in the U.S.?
