Listening sessions with Erik Iverson -- and a GOP blog party

Erik Iverson is doing what he should be doing as new chairman of the state GOP -- going around the state to meet Republican party members and leaders.

Coming up are meetings in Kalispell on the 22nd, Helena on the 28th, Billings on the 29th, Bozeman on Sept. 18 and Miles City on Sept. 19.

Recent elections have been a wake-up call for Republicans throughout the state, and there are many encouraging signs that the complacency of the past is being replaced by a determination to build for the future.

We have every hope that Iverson's leadership will not only meet, but exceed the high expectations that have been building within the party since the announcement of his candidacy for chairman.

Republicans are urged to attend the regional meeting in their respective areas.

Also listed at the above site is a planned Blog Party in Helena on Sept. 8, sponsored by the Lewis & Clark County Republican Central Committee -- RSVP required
