The Gazette article reveals that there is also support among some Democrats for across-the-board property tax cuts for every property owner in Montana, so unless something goes seriously awry, the session should end with legislation passed to that effect, albeit perhaps not with cuts as deep as the GOP would like.
The question then would be if Gov. Schweitzer would veto such legislation.
