Coyote ugly

When Billings Gazette headlines are ugly, Montana Headlines points it out. When they are average, they get ignored.

Sometimes, though, they are are great fun. Just how could one improve on "Coyote killing contest prompt howls from foes" ?

There are some serious points made in the article, such as the fact that professional predator control by the USDA is more effective because it targets problem animals and focuses on areas having livestock losses.

But an infusion of cash into Eastsern Montana, ridding the prairies of predators that create havoc with livestock producers, and having a good time -- with a combination like that, liberals are sure to howl.
