Governor Schweitzer doesn't attend Montana Stockgrower's Association meeting

Although he was invited to attend, the only major Montana policital figure who failed to show up at the MSGA convention in Billings was Governor Schweitzer, who apparently didn't even sent a representative.

While Sens. Baucus (D) and Burns (R), Rep. Rehburg (R), and Sen.-elect Tester (D) all made their appearances at the convention of the oldest, largest, and most important association of ranchers in the Montana, the governor didn't.

He did have time to address the Montana Cattlemen's Association mid-year meeting in July, but then, the MCA has developed a reputation for being a partisan Democrat organization in the eyes of many. The MCA meeting at Holter Lake was possibly also in a little sexier location than the MSGA meeting.
